Recognized vehicle makers like BMW, Audi, and Ford have been making their way into the micromobility video game with electric bikes and scooters. Now, store carmakers are joining the celebration as well.
Greyp— pronounced “grape”– is a brand-new e-bike company spun out of Rimac Automobili, a Croatian carmaker that constructs limited-run, high-performance electrical cars. Rimac says its latest production, the C 2, boasts more than 1,900 horse power, a leading speed of 258 mph, and a 0-to-60- mph time of 1.85 seconds.
Hence, it’s not surprising that when Rimac chose to construct e-bikes, it went a bit over the top. Greyp’s line of G6 mountain bicycle, which the business just recently said would be available for the US market, are loaded with tech– consisting of GPS, internet connection, a heart-rate display, dual action electronic cameras, and other gadgets.
