A faster new Apple TV might be in Apple’s pipeline.
Apple just recently launched the designer beta for the most current version of the software application that powers the Apple TV, called tvOS 13.4, and files within the software application included a referral to what could be a new Apple TV design, according to 9to5Mac, which discovered the code.
The software application recommends that a brand-new Apple TV design with the codename “T1125” might be in the works that’s based on the very same architecture as Apple’s A12 and A13 Bionic chips. The A12 Bionic processor powers Apple’s iPhone XS and iPhone XR line, while the newer A13 Bionic chip can be discovered in the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
Apple did not instantly react to Business Insider’s ask for remark.
Apple hasn’t released a new Apple TELEVISION since it released the 4K-enabled model back in September 2017 together with the iPhone X. That design runs on Apple’s A10 X Fusion chip, the same processor that powers Apple’s 10.5- inch and 12.9- inch iPad Pro designs that were launched more than two years back in June2017
Launching a brand-new Apple TELEVISION design with a processor that’s just as fast as Apple’s current iPhones might help the company make the experience feel more consistent throughout all of its products. Having a more effective Apple TV might also be necessary for Apple as it increases its subscription computer game service, Apple Arcade, which it launched in the fall of 2019.
If Apple is planning to release a new Apple TV, it’s unclear when it may do so. Nevertheless, there’s an opportunity we could see something new from Apple in March or June, as the business has actually been known to release new items in the early spring and at its Worldwide Developers Conference.

A new Apple TELEVISION is among a number of gadgets the tech giant is anticipated to introduce this year. Apple is also reported to be dealing with Tile-like devices to help you find lost items referred to as AirTags; a new iPad Pro with more effective video cameras; and a premium pair of over-ear headphones. And, naturally, the company’s new 5G-enabled iPhone lineup is expected to debut this fall.
