Police Officers Escort A Mama Duck And Her Babies Safely Through A Busy City

Downtown traffic in Saskatoon, Canada, stood still for a few adorable minutes when a couple of kindhearted police officers escorted a mama duck and her babies toward the South Saskatchewan River.

Duck families are common sights at the start of spring, since ducklings hatch this time of year. Within 24 hours of hatching, mother ducks lead their little ones to water, which normally goes off without a hitch.

Unfortunately for these little fluff balls, their mother couldn’t avoid laying her eggs in a busy area. That’s where these officers came in!

We all need a helping hand sometimes, and these nice officers really went out of their way to extend theirs to an adorable little family. Good job, guys!

Cops In Lithuania Keep Pulling Women Over, But Not For The Reason You’d Expect

There are approximately zero people on this planet who enjoy getting pulled over.

Seeing those red and blue lights in the rearview is always a gut-wrenching experience, and it’s one that most of us tend to avoid like the plague by driving the speed limit and never being that moron who doesn’t use turn signals. And that’s exactly what these ladies in Lithuania were doing earlier this week on March 8, so why were they getting pulled over?

As it turns out, the cops didn’t give them tickets. In honor of International Women’s Day, they decided to hand out flowers instead!

These ladies feared the worst, but based on their reactions, those flowers cheered them right up!

Some people are knocking these actions as being patriarchal, but aside from that, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. If ladies are smiling on the day that’s dedicated to everything they do, all’s well! Women are incredible, and it’s nice to see that these officers agree.

When You See The Surprise That A Cop Had For These Kids, You’ll Be So Jealous

Kids are always told to put down their devices and play outside, but when they do, they’re often met with backlash. While sitting inside and scrolling through Twitter is a quiet activity, playing basketball is a decidedly noisy way to pass the time.

That’s why people in this neighborhood called the cops on a few teens who were playing a pick-up game outside. They were just trying to have fun, but the neighbors weren’t having it. Luckily for the players, however, a guy named Officer White was on their side.

Instead of coming down on them for playing ball, this officer joined them (since, you know, playing basketball isn’t a crime). He also vowed to come back and play again!

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

Officer White was recently dispatched to a call of kids playing basketball “loudly” in the streets. In the evening. Having fun. Not committing crimes. Let’s see how he handled it.

He kept his promise, and you’ll never believe who he brought with him.

Playing ball with Shaq must have been a dream come true for those kids! He’s an absolute legend. Cops like Officer White are doing it right. People should never feel bad about having fun, especially when they’re staying healthy and active.
